A demon attempted to rape a woman as she walked her small dog on a Brooklyn sidewalk Saturday morning, cops say.
Video footage released by the NYPD shows the assailant approaching his 30-year-old victim from behind at around 8.30am near Woodbine Street and Ridgewood Place in Bushwick and placing her in a chokehold.
He then drags her to the sidewalk behind a parked car.
The woman’s dog can be seen barking frantically as the man mounts the woman, pictures show.
Police say the suspect continued to strangle the victim and assault her on her clothing before fleeing east on Woodbine Street.
“That bastard literally put her in a chokehold and pushed her to the ground and almost choked her unconscious,” a law enforcement source told The Post on Sunday.
The victim initially refused medical treatment but was later treated at the Interfaith Medical Center, police said.
She suffered a cut on her neck and bruising and swelling in both eyes, a police source said.

The suspect was described as around 30 years old and 5ft 8in tall with an average build, police said. He had his black hair in dreads, a mustache and chin hair, police said.
He was last seen wearing a black cap with a rose design on the front and was also wearing a black t-shirt, shorts and sneakers, authorities said.
