Lights is done by emphasizing the opinions of others.

Over the weekend, the Canadian singer, born Valerie Anne Poxleitner, took to Instagram to share a series of photos of herself enjoying a day by the water, alongside an honest message about the life of his “dream” life.

In the post, the 35-year-old stood on rocks and dipped her toes in the lake. Her tattoos were on full display as she posed in a neon yellow bikini with black patterns. The star accessorized red-tinted sunglasses and a series of shell necklaces as her raven-colored locks fell to her waist.

In the caption, the “Drive My Soul” singer opened up about how she handles hateful comments and reminded nearly 500,000 followers of everything she’s accomplished so far.

“I love it when people say ‘OMG you were so wholesome, you’re a shadow of yourself, I can’t show your music to my kids.’ B**** I’m a grown woman** with a house and a kid I feel better than ever I finally have control over my mental health I have sex power, I own a business, I ‘ I’m living my dreams and this shit is wholesome as shit. Then I block it and report it for bullying,” she wrote.

In the comments, fans praised Light’s confidence and thanked her for inspiring others to do the same.

“We raise Lights in every era,” one follower commented, while another added, “Queen.”

“Trying to manifest this energy in my everyday life,” wrote one fan. “You are so genuine and honest and truly inspiring people to be themselves.”

“To be honest, I like this version of you the most, so keep doing it. You look so much happier than I’ve seen you in a long time!” someone else said.

“Continue to be the amazing, wonderful human being that you are and continue to care nothing, this is the version of you we’ve all loved and adored over the years, Lights. Your growth and confidence in are inspiring to you,” a fan told the singer.
