Chicago rapper Lil Durk says he’s taking some time off to recover from injuries he sustained during a Saturday night performance at Lollapalooza.

The 29-year-old rapper announced the hiatus on Instagram to his more than 14 million followers, saying he intended to “take a break [and] focus on my health,” after a pyrotechnic hit him in the eye.

A photo shows Durk, real name Durk Derrick Banks, with a bandage covering his left eye.

A video now circulating online shows Lil’ Durk crossing the stage before being hit by powerful bursts of smoke. He backs up and starts wiping his face with his shirt.

Billboard reports that the rapper has more than 20 U.S. tour dates scheduled through mid-October.

The “What Happened to Virgil” rapper interrupted his performance for a few moments before finishing his set.

Lollapalooza is a four-day music festival held annually in Chicago’s Grant Park.
