Damn! I thought Wiz Khalifa was just the cool guy who smokes weed and raps. Apparently not.
At a concert in Los Angeles over the weekend, the Pittsburgh rapper completely lost his mind, lashing out at two DJs who were helping out at the shop. These DJs were DJ Mike Danger and MC Tron.
In the clip, you can see Khalifa yelling at the two of them and was very upset that they weren’t playing any songs from his latest album. Multiversewhich was released on Friday, July 29.
In the video, you can hear Khalifa say, “Bitch nigga, if you wanna fight, nigga we can do it. Y’all niggas suck, don’t hug me, bitch. All y’all niggas suck. Play my new shitty nigga, play him nigga, play “Bad Ass Bitches”. You are all horrible DJs. I came here tonight to promote for y’all and have a good time and have a good time, but you know what I’m not gonna do? »
He continued, “I ain’t gonna sit here and let these motherfucker niggas act like this shit is okay. I’m a real nigger ass. My album just came out today. My album just came out today, play my new shitty asshole.
Phew. Shit Wiz. I understand that you want your new songs to be released, but did that really justify a reaction like that? Other members of the DJ community posted replies on social media criticizing Khalifa’s behavior. Famous DJ Swift took to Instagram to post a lengthy response and condemn the rapper’s “right”.
In the post office he wrote, “@wizkhalifa’s arrogance towards house DJs in this video sums up the inflated sense of importance of many of you rappers,” he wrote. “I don’t know what it’s like to hold a microphone to your mouth that gives rappers like @wizkhalifa a sense of grandeur but let me be the first to say I sat backstage with a lot of between you and I see through the deed Most of you are not safe, can’t fight and none of you are killers, that’s for sure!
He continued, “With the recent awareness around mental health, I would be interested to read a study comparing the level of mental illness in rappers like @wizkhalifa vs their DJ counterparts. I’d bet my savings account rappers like @wizkhalifa would win this battle!
He ended by saying, “Rappers like @wizkhalifa have this false sense of entitlement. They require more admiration from fans than those IG models. It’s crazy!”
We’ll see if Wiz Khalifa’s response is as passionate as his response to DJs not playing his new music.
